Dangerous 03:44
You were a spark, I was a half-a-can of gasoline, You said that we could make a bright light, with the vapors comin' off of me The violence and the heat of, this kind of love It must be dangerous... must be dangerous... It must be dangerous... am I dangerous? We were just some mirrors hanging in a man-made cave obliterating shadows intensifying light waves I'd have never dreamed someday We'd become a green death ray We must be dangerous must be dangerous We must be dangerous am I dangerous? There's many strands that twist a rope many coins that pay the hangman many hands that haul the weight many minds forgive them It takes someone to write the book someone to read it someone to speak it out someone to believe it Someone to take the blow Someone to deal it Someone light you up Someone to feel it We're vulnerable when we're all alone vulnerable all alone vulnerable when we're all alone vulnerable But together we're dangerous together we're dangerous together we're dangerous am I dangerous?

and i find myself again on the outside of a window where everyone's in and i find the writing comes easy when the talking gets so hard and oh.... glass and timber little river walk away walk away flint to tinder just beginning to blaze to blaze oh.... there's a crack there's a crack in my wrist in the smallest of bones 'cause i slipped on the rail-tracks in the water when, all I wanted was home... home... home... home...

It's quiet in the ruins of the hospital Roof gone missin so the sky's on the inside Through the cloudscape I can see an island Ruin-city towers just peeking through a landslide Is there someone in the ruins of the hospital? Has the roof gone missin' is it dark on the inside? Another me just shattered by the silence? There's a commotion in the ruins of the hospital glass pains shaking people cryin on the inside hear the sirens bleedin through the violence But scenes like these portraying fallen leaves decaying phantoms on a screen a half-remembered dream amber with time pierced with a clean but terrible light and the love left alive must change to survive looks like we're starting over looks like we're starting over looks like we're starting over cause all of this falls apart when you look away all of this falls apart when you look away all of this falls apart when you look away.....

Fire Escape 02:02
sit me on the fire escape don't let me burn easy don't let me burn fast don't let me burn gotta get a little space on the fire escape don't let me fall down without a net oooh... drip and drip the faucet leaks it lets the rain fall it lets the tears come and mix with grease click and clack the iron pipes they clang so freely the hiss so easy they burn the skin oooh....

Mary 03:06
i placed a quarter on a fence-post i told a story about a child i pushed it off into the water take me back take me back take me back put me on trial mary, mary, mary, how does your garden grow? did you build it from scratch? did you buy it in patches? does a man really reap what he sows? do your hands really reap what they sow? she stands on corners in the summer a nest hangs woven on her arm her steps all trailed with errant flowers take me back take me back take me back i'll sound the alarm mary, mary, mary, how does your garden grow? did you build it from scratch? did you buy it in patches? does a man really reap what he sows? do your hands really reap what they sow? and she'll fly away and she'll fly away and she'll fly away away mary, mary, mary, how does your garden grow? did you build it from scratch? did you buy it in patches? does a man really reap? do your hands really reap? do your hands really reap? what they sow?

Pneumania 04:00
cast iron pipes contain streams of my consciousness rusted elbows and lime pressurize and re-direction them it's a contract i signed seemed a deal at the time and now there's a city on top of my head a city on top of my universe a city on top of my head it's drained away all of my aquifers so i drink to stay alive drink to fill back up drink to stay alive drink to fill back up drink to stay alive contain the empty inside so the city in my head don't run dry don't run dry don't run dry don't run dry sometimes I feel like a dinosaur my body liquefied ten million years before i'm in your party glasses i'm in your magazines c'mon baby can you smell the gasoline as the fire in your head burns my energy energy energy energy so i drink to stay alive drink to fill back up drink to stay alive drink to fill back up I drink to stay alive to keep the fire alight so the city in my head don't run dry don't run dry don't run dry don't run dry but we all run out we all run out (we all run out) we all run out (we all run out) we all run out (we all run out) we all run out someday but cast iron pipes all that's left of my consciousness busted elbows and time petrify and re-direction them it's a contract i signed shoulda known at the time and now there's a ruin on top of my head a ruin top of my universe a ruin on top of my head it's drained away all of my aquifers

Alchemist 03:59
alchemist, alchemist please turn my lead heart to gold make all my organs a glittering sight to behold well I wanna leave something for show when they draw out my soul through my nose put it in a jar put it in a jar put it in a jar put it in a jar rocketman, rocketman, take me to work when you go i promise i'll only bring questions whose answers you know well i know that it's cold and it's far but i wanna get close to a star it's so hard here in a jar it's so hard here in a jar lover, discover we're deep in the future it seems the circles are real but the lines just exist in our dreams and these days i just can't see the sky but it's clean, and it's warm, and it's dry so please, leave my trapdoor ajar so i can feel the moon, and the sun, and the stars, it's just the breath of my little lead heart here in a jar here in a jar here..... here in a jar
